Play is a Universal Language

Today, Mia had a few minutes on the playground on Shamian Island.  It has moved, by the way.  We looked for it in the place we remembered and found a plot full of plants.  Had we not eaten outside at Lucy’s, we might never have found it.  From my vantage point, it was just past Annie’s head.  We never would have looked there on purpose.

Mia got on the see-saw and Kennedy made a move to get on it with her.  Before she got there, a local Chinese girl about four or five jumped on it with her.  They did not have to say a single word in order to have fun together.  It was kind of a nice little life lesson about getting along with others.
