Swimming with Papa

Some of you may remember the video of Mia swimming from a few years ago.  Back then it was a big struggle,  and without the floaties, she would drop straight to the bottom. 

Mia and I have been swimming a lot this summer.  We started with floaties and constant assistance.  She took swimming lessons earlier this summer and we have now graduated from the floaties.  She won't use her arms, but she can scoot from one side of the pool to the other pretty quickly.  We joke about her swimming like Aquaman, but she's gotten pretty good.

We took her to Papa's house yesterday and she showed Papa her skills.  He had not seen her swim in quite a while, and he was impressed.  Even though she cheated at water volleyball...  :  )
