About Kennedy Faith...

In the last 2 days, 3 different people at school have asked me what I know about Kennedy so far.  I realized today that I probably sent most of what I know in email form, not blog form.  For those of you who do not know, here goes!

We found about about our daughter by following the blog of the Kennedy family who adopted our daughter's best friend back in December.  When choosing an American name with meaning for Niu Niu, (her Chinese name) we decided to name her after that precious family that God used to lead us to her!  (Nice perk...I have always LOVED that name!)  We chose the middle name Faith because the road to Kennedy has truly been a journey of Faith for our family.

What I know about my oldest daughter is that she is beautiful!  Maybe stunning is a better word!  See posts from last week for proof!  She has a shy smile and LONG, thick, gorgeous hair!  Her file says, "She is a very smart girl.  She is open minded and very active.  (fits in at OUR house!) She loves literature and music.  She loves arts and crafts, dancing, playing piano and performing sign language.  She is an "A" student and has great self control.  She respects all her teachers.  (YES!!!) She is easy to get along with and easily fits herself in to new environments.  She is very curious and interested in advanced and new things.  She is a kind girl who loves to help younger kids.  (Great news for Mia!)  She is a team worker and loves group activities.  She is optimistic and talented.  She gets along well with her classmates.  She is an excellent student in the classroom and concentrates all the time which is why she always gets good grades.  She helps with chores, is neat and tidy and is a helpful hand to all the teachers."

What I also know is that we love her already.  We know that God placed her in our hearts and that we were chosen to be her forever family long before WE were even born.  I know that we CAN HARDLY WAIT to meet Kennedy and bring her HOME!  We know that God's plan is for US to build a family through adoption, specifically from China.  We know we are blessed beyond measure to parent two such amazing, loving, smart, beautiful and talented girls!

So...for now...that is what I know about Kennedy!  :)  Charles may add more later, but truth be told, he has been passed out on the couch for 30 minutes now, and it is only 9:30!!
