The details...

OK, I finally have a few minutes to post!  It has been a very exciting but BUSY day!  We will meet Kennedy on Sunday, November 28!  Since we can only fly in on a Friday or a Sunday, we are opting to arrive in her province on Friday, November 26 so we will have Saturday to SLEEP and recover from the LONG journey.  Charles and I are NOT great with travel, but Mia is down right awful with it!  She can barely handle the 50 minute drive to the zoo!  We figured it would not be ideal to get off the plane on Sunday all tired, dirty and grumpy, then meet our precious daughter/big sister right away!

We depart on Wednesday, November 24...the day before Thanksgiving!  (It will actually already be Thursday in China when we leave, though!)  You may recall that we left on Christmas day to meet Mia!  We have a thing for holiday travel, I guess!  We will arrive in Guiyang on Friday, November 26 and meet Kennedy on the 28th.  Our consulate appointment is on December 7 at 9:30 a.m.  We are free to leave the country the evening of December 9, but there are no flights.  So...we can not fly out until 9 p.m. on December 10.  The good news is that it will be about bed time, so hopefully we will sleep through most of the flight.  We will gain a day back and arrive in Los Angeles on December 10, but we will be too late to catch the last flight home.  Therefore, we will spend the night in LA and fly home on December 11.

We are overwhelmed with excitement and anticipation!  What a mountain God has moved, and what a miracle to be thankful for!!!!

For any of you that have been following our blog that are aware of our "Sun Stand Still" prayer for a miracle to allow us to travel in November rather than December as we were told, God has answered our prayer!  This has been a real-life miracle for all to see.  It is our prayer that watching this miracle unfold into reality will draw at least some of you closer to God.  He loves us and truly hears our very specific prayers.  If you have giants in your path right now, have audacious faith!  Pray and ask God specifically for the miracle you need and take a baby step forward.  Thank Him in advance and BELIEVE that He will answer your prayer.  He is mighty and will knock your giants right out of the way.  If you are reading this and you have not yet asked God to come into your heart, you can do it right now.  You don't need any fancy words or a pastor to help you.  Just talk to Him like He's right in the room with you.  Tell him you know you have messed up in the past, and probably will again, but ask Him to come into your heart to stay.  He will, and He will never leave.
