We made it home safely yesterday. Our flight from Los Angeles left a few minutes late, but arrived a couple of minutes early. Once again, Kennedy showed no real emotion over the trip. It has all been very matter-of-fact for her so far. It seems as though she's thinking "I'm going to Texas? Oh, okay. Let me know when we get there."
The girls slept through most of the flight. I apparently slept through all of the turbulence. I had no idea that we experienced any until well after we landed, so I guess it wasn't too bad.
When we arrived at baggage claim, some of our friends met us to greet Kennedy for the first time and to welcome all of us home. It was really nice! There were balloons, signs and gifts, to go along with the roses from Nana and Papa. It was really touching that people cared enough to share this moment with us.
