SK8 NITE

Tonight, Mia's school hosted skate night at the local roller rink.  We went up for about an hour.  I usually skate with her, but tonight she wanted to hang with her school friends.  The  last few skate nights, I've been able to skate with Mia for a little while, but she eventually lets me know that I can go sit down if I want to.  Tonight, there was no pretension.  She was not going to have dad cramping her style.  Oh well.  She'll need me when she wants gas money someday...
